B2B Copywriters

B2B copywriters specialize in writing materials that companies use to market their products and services to other companies. These materials can include brochures, datasheets, white papers, direct response pieces, and web copy.

To some people, B2B (business-to-business) copywriting sounds boring. They picture page after page of stuffy text that drones on and on about sophisticated machinery or complex software. But good B2B copy is anything but boring.

Think about it: the target audience in every B2B piece is a person. Whether they're at work or at home, people are motivated by the same things: fear, greed, time constraints, budget constraints, the desire to look good, the desire to win.

They'll respond to humor. They'll act on a good offer. They'll even read long copy if it truly solves a problem they've been having (but if we can say the same thing in fewer words, we always should).
